Lidar Bhopal

What is a lidar data process?

The data of the road survey conducted by the Lidar , which is the data output of the mapping of DGPS and Lieca Lidar combination through point cloud is called Lidar data process.

Leica Pegasus is a product line of mobile mapping systems developed by Leica Geosystems, a Swiss company specializing in surveying and geomatics solutions. These systems are designed to capture geospatial data from a moving vehicle, enabling efficient and accurate mapping of roads, infrastructure, and urban environments.

The Leica Pegasus systems typically consist of a combination of high-resolution cameras, laser scanners, and positioning sensors mounted on a vehicle. As the vehicle travels along a route, the system collects data and captures imagery, creating a detailed and georeferenced 3D point cloud of the surroundings. This point cloud can then be used for various applications, such as road condition assessment, asset management, urban planning, and digital twin creation.

The Leica Pegasus systems offer advanced features and capabilities to ensure accurate and reliable data collection. They incorporate precise positioning technologies, such as GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) and IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit), to determine the position and orientation of the sensors in real-time. The integrated software suite provided with the systems enables efficient data processing, visualization, and analysis of the captured data.

The Leica Pegasus product line includes different models, such as the Leica Pegasus Two and Leica Pegasus:Two Ultimate. Each model may have specific specifications, sensor configurations, and software capabilities, tailored for different mapping and surveying requirements.
